Is the glock 22 and 31 mags the same size and fit both models without problems?

to answer your question, yes.
a .357 Sig is basically a .40 necked down to .356-357 diameter. you may also use the longer magazines in the compact Glocks but not vice-versa

So basically the glock 22 magazine is the exact same as a glock 31 magazine. So I can put .357 sig ammo in a glock 22 mag and put it in a glock 33 pistol?

Yes, but test it thoroughly as some of them would not feed to well(All of mine work fine, others have had problems) because the follower for the 357SIG is 5degrees different.
