What are my scope base plate mount options on a 1911? I have seen the
Weigand scope / sight base but I'd rather have something like that but involves no drilling into the frame......  I wanted to put a C-more sight on my colt 1911.

Any help appreciated.

I'm unaware of any non gunsmithing mounts out there other than grip mounts.   There is nothing similar to a Wiegand mount that does not require holes drilled into the dust cover.  However, if you just want it for fun, the grip mounts are cheap, and work fine.
