9x19 mag for WHAT?
AFAIK, 1911 mags used with 9mms are really made for .38 Super. I'm not sure of the length difference between the .38 Super and 9x23. |

Damn...I was under the impression that the 9x21 is not much of an improvement over the 9x19.......
Oh well, maybe I'll just have to get the 10mm and make it a 9x25 Dillion.  S.O. |

They use 10mm mags sometimes.

If this is specifically about the 1911, then I believe the proper mag is the .38 mag.

I think the 9x25 D will make quite the conversation piece and be a unique addition Double tap now makes loaded ammo for it. It is an absolute monster and supposed to be insanely LOUD.
