I have a G26 I bought in '02 NIB from a dealer, what generation would this be?

Made in '02 is most likely 3rd gen.

A Glock 26 will most closely reemble the gen 2.5 shown in the pic above.

Early versions had smooth finger grooves. Later versions added texture to the finger grooves.
