I am looking for additional (preferable Mec-Gar) Magazines for my Sig 229 in .40

I have been looking for a couple more mags to add however I am not going to pay the absurd prices that the sig website is selling them for. I also cannot seem to find anywhere that sells the P229 .40 mags It seems they are always for 229 9mm and every other sig model under the sun.

Where did you all buy your magazines and where can I get the best deal from the most reliable source!!!

Thanks

Midway has sig factory mags for $36.99 and promags for $26.70, both 10-rounders, the 12-rounds are out of stock.

Edit: I've never used promags.

Try Greg Cote. I've bought 9mm 229 mags from him twice and been pleased. I think he's got a website now- Google is your friend.

I usually check out Brownells too but TGS is VERY good for SIG stuff.

TGS is probably the best place.

J&G Sales has a few listed in limited quantities. They are used, but $24.95 is hard to argue with.

CDNN
Factory is SAUER and MECGAR.
Mecgar is top quality but they will not sell parts to anyone
The phosphate mags that cdnn has are sauer, good stuff and you can get extra followers from brownells ( now anyway )
You can purchase springs from WOLFGUNSPRINGS in PA.
Buy more than you need.

Another vote for TGS. I got my Sig mags from them. Never bought the Mec Gar mags, not that I wouldn't.
