Not the worst example of a Series 70 colt I've seen, however note the off center slide .........
 And while the pictures don't show it, it's not uncommon to find the dust cover in the same off center condition. I'd give no more than the opening bid price. |

A truly pristine NIB example recently sold locally out of a gun shop for $1100. Didn't get to examine it in detail but it looked awful nice and considering the shop that sold it, I'd bet that it really was pristine.
With the off-center spring tunnel as noted and a "hint" of an assembly scratch in one of the views (doesn't show in the other) I'd think the $800-$900 would an appropriate price. |
