Hydra Shoks, Gold Dot, or maybe some Ranger SXT

Depends on what the ammo fairy has brought for me.

hydrashocks in everything I carry.

another vote for the Hydrashocks. (230 gr standard load) Whatever you decide to carry (to trust your life to) make sure it feeds reliably in your gun! My original choice was Rem Gold sabers. They failed to feed once in awhile--like twice in 200 shots. It would be just my luck to have a FTF when I NEEDED it. So far, the Hydrashocks haven't failed in over 400 rds.

They dont make hydrashoks, gold dots, or black talons in .454 casull, so Im stuck with the hornady xtp-mags.

cor-bon +P 230 gr HP

I don't carry (yet) but Ranger SXT 147gr (RA9T) in my night stand gun.

Second choice would be Ranger SXT 127gr +P+ (RA9TA) and third choice is Gold Dot 124gr +P.

Choices based on published testing results, functionality in my weapons, price and availability.
