My local gun shop has had one for over a year and it never sold. Price to high for what it is.

It is basically the tactical with the regular rear sight, barrel and a fiber front sight, right? Plus it won't fit in the damn IDPA box, so it's not very useful in some competitions.

If by competition model you mean long slide, Yes there is an FNS 9 and 40 with a long slide. They're out there.

They started shipping to distributor's last week. They should start showing up very soon.

The FNS-9L is listed from the distributor with the same price as the Night-sight FNSs... Think that is a mistake? I don't have any info regarding pricing structure, but I would snag one ASAP. They shoot incredibly well. I've been holding off on the G 34/35 waiting on the longslides. I think they will sell very quickly. |

My FNS-9L is at my dealer and I pick it up tomorrow!
Interesting thing is that there is NO manual safety even though every pic I have ever seen of them show a manual safety.
