I started carrying a full size USP in a cheap uncle mikes pancake holster when I turned 21. It did ok but it sagged and stabbed me in the side. So I bought a MTAC holster and didn't even feel the gun. The leather backing really made it comfortable. Still had a sagging problem with the pistol so I bought a gun belt from comptac. Problem solved. The belt is so stiff and such high quality that that pistol disappears. Also got a double mag carrier too.  Just wanted to share my story and gloat a little bit . Thanks to all the guys here that helped me make these choices.

Yes they do. My first CCW was a full size USP.45 in a Supertuck and it was more comfortable and concealable than my Glock 19 and Galco Kingtuck. I loved that holster. If my Raven doesn't work out, which it should, but if not than its back to Crossbreed for me.

Are you planning on going IWB with your Raven? I just ordered one, myself, for OWB carry. Seems to me that most people think Ravens shine in OWB, and just average IWB. I'll give it a go IWB... Who knows, I may think it's great, but it will be hard to beat my MTAC.

My hopes is that it will work OWB. I have IWB soft loops just in case but I hate having to buy pants that are too big and look dumb just to fit a gun in them. I don't see how it could beat my old Supertuck, or any holster with leather backing like the Comp Tac, for IWB. But who knows.

The Raven does IWB just fine.  I like it more than my MTAC, I think it carries better because it is so much less material to stick in your pants.
