Here's a tough value question. I bought a friends used Glock 17 some time ago, not big deal except...

It was a suicide weapon, that when returned to the pistol range where it was rented by the now deceased, they sold it off immediately. I have heard through the years that collectors put a premium on guns with this kind of history, but have no idea what it would be or where to market it.

BTW, I use it now in Glock matches, and it has to have had at least 50,000 rounds through it. Apparently the guns history has not affected it's reliability in any way. I don't believe that I'll sell it, except back to the friend I bought it from, he had won a couple of Glock matches with it before I got it from him.

Unless the former owner was John Lennon or John Belushi or similiar, it will be worth no more than any other used Glock.
