| Hey all, I was looking at getting a summer carry gun that is smaller than my Glock 19 but bigger than an LCP and figured that the PPK/S would be a good candidate. Anyways, I was shopping around the pawn shops and saw two stainless steel models for sale. They were in good condition and I think one was an Interarms but I'm not 100% sure. Asking price was $539. What would I reasonably be able to expect to pay for one of these guns in today's market? Would I be better served by looking at a Bersa? Thanks for the opinions. |

Have a PPK/S and one of the new Thunder 380 Combat.
The PPK is nice. I put a set of the Coco Bolo grips on it from CDNN. Make sure it's had the recall work on it for the safety and firing pin. You can tell by cocking the hammer and looking for a punch pin mark about half way down the hammer length. 7+1 for capacity. I paid about $375 used for mine 3 yrs ago. (ETA.. This is for the S&W PPK/S only) LOVE the Bersa. Was able to pick one up on GB for $325 with free shipping AND no CC fee just last month. It's basically an upgraded PPK. LIFETIME warranty. 8+1 for capacity. The rubber finger grip fits my have very well and it shot as well or better than the S&W Walther. Never would have gotten the Walther now that I can compare. |

Not sure about your area but that's what we (exactly) pay for new ones. About a third of the way down:
