Or did I just miss something? Yes you can. The G19 and G23 share the same lower frame and parts with the exception of the ejector and the magazines. Many people switch out their 40sw ejector for a 9mm version for increased ejection reliability, however, many also state that they haven't needed to make a switch. However, if you are only looking for the ability to shoot 9mm for practice, a cheaper way to do it is to buy a conversion barrel for your G23. That isn't just a stock G19 barrel, but rather a 9mm barrel made especially for your G23. Lone Wolf has conversion barrels for $100. They also have complete slide/barrel assemblies, including extended length versions. |
