Got myself a VP9 tactical on saturday, got to shoot it this morning.  I want to get a suppressor for it and am trying to figure out just what company makes a suppressor that would play nice with the euro threading on the VP9.

I am aware that hkparts sells an adaptor, but before I go deciding to getting that i figure i should at least see what is available in the native tread.

If I am to get  suppressor I do want one that is on the quiet side, so if that means I need the adaptor and then to get a half x 29 can, I will.

Guess I just want to know what my options are.

Thank you!

A rugged obsidian 9 works great. They have all the thread pitches for pistons. Here's mine suppressed I'm short config.

The VP9 Tactical and Silencerco Omega 9 are my nightstand gun. They pair very nicely together.

I run a SilencerCo Hybrid 46 in the short configuration on mine. I had to buy the correct piston (13.5 x 1 LH) to use with the factory barrel. I have to admit, the VP9 shoots well suppressed!

Get a 45 cal suppressor for when you buy a hammer fired HK in 45. I like the DA Ghost.

I've never had a problem finding a suppressor to pair with my HK handguns. I've been using an AAC Ti-Rant 9M HD with AAC Ti-Rant 9M HD Piston, M13.5x1LH on the VP9 and P30L. Simple swap to the 3-lug piston for the HK SP5.

Just about any current 9mm/.45ACP suppressor will work, they all have pistons that interchange and it's fairly easy to find a euro/metric thread for your VP9.

I like shorter cans, the Silencerco Omega 9K is nice on a pistol.

My Ospreys sound amazing, but no matter how I set them up the twist all around on the barrel.

I’ve used my AAC TiRant45 with mine (with a 13.5x1 piston). Worked fine.

Like said above.  No adapters necessary.  Just get the proper piston for whichever can you get.  I have an Hk left hand piston, and a right hand piston for mine.  Swap out for different guns.

Same.

However, I’ve just bought a TBAC Fly 9 (titanium) and am about to buy a ECCO Canine (titanium) for some crazy light 4oz action.
