Aside from either a Glock 21 or various Para models, does anyone besides H&K make a .45acp model that holds more than 10rds?????

I'm not interested in the 1911 10rd models before anyone asks.

More than 10 rounds?
Does 10 plus one in the chamber count?

If so, the EAA Witness and the CZ-97B come to mind.

I think that's about it in guns that tend to work.

If you ever need more than 10 rounds of .45 you might have bit off more than you can chew.

Kimber makes a model "Ten II" series.  They hold 14 but getting all 14 rds in the mag is a bitch.

Check out Sig.  They just came out with a new match poistol.  The name and calibers escape me but I saw it in American Rifleman.  Looked sweet too.  STI makes a nice one too but you said no 1911's.

the only one I can think of is the Witness ( is the CZ97 10+???? ) and though Witnesses are very good guns ( I have owned many over the years ) I have never been able to get over the mediocre safety switch ( it's too soft ) and the nearly complete lack of any ability to make it better.

For the sake of completeness, I submit the following:

Model 24/7-45SS-12  12+1 .45 ACP

I thought so but wanted to make sure. I do suffer from CRS, it seems.

This will be mostly a 3 Gun/IPSC match gun so capacity is a plus.

No, just the 10rd models. STI is very likely out of my poor price range, sadly. Damn fine guns.

Sig 226 X-Five. Single stage tigger with thumb safety. Hold 19 round of 9mm or 14 round of .40, no .45 though.

.45s only, sir. I have enough 9mm's & I refuse to own a .40 in anything.

Glock, Para, and the Taraus 24/7 are the only ones I know of. As far as 10rdrs go I love my CZ 97B.

You can get 10rd mags for the SIG220, but I don't know how reliable they are.  Plus, they stick out of the magwell alittle.

wilson makes a nice polymer framed 10 shot 1911.  it has it's own frame and magazine, so you can't use para or sa hi-cap mags.

I have a Para-Ord Tac Four.  The LDA trigger is sweet.  13 +1 rounds of 45.  50 yard hits no problem with Wolf ammo.  Mine is stainless, but you can get it in OD green too.

SIG did make the 221. The high cap verison of the 220 3 or 4 years ago, but I do not think that it has been sold to the general public

10rd, no?

Looks like I'll be going to the H&K USP .45acp full size with their 12 rd capacity.

Thanks for all who suggested!

Never seen this model. At least I've found my USP, albeit after 1/2 dozen phone calls.
