Just tried out my 9mm conversion barrel from Storm Lake in my G27- fired about 120 rounds, not one problem. Used about 30 rounds Speer Gold Dot and about 90 rounds of some crappy fmj reloads. To be honest, the thing seems to run better than my the stock barrel, which seems to have occasions FTF's with Wolf fmj. No changes besides the barrel and mags- one mag is a factory Glock +2 for G26, the other is a G19 with the A and G (?) gap filler attatched. All in all I am quite pleased, the workmanship on the barrel appears to be of high quality.

At least you know what the problem is.

Yeah, the wolf does have that problem, but now that i think about it, have the same problem with Winchester white box. It might be from the Scherer +1 grip extensions, I'm not really sure. I bought a G23 mag with the grip extender, I'll have to see how that works. All in all, I'm pleased to now have a 9mm to practice and teach my daughter to shoot with at a bargain price.

No extractor issues? From 40 to 9 or did you change the extractor?

Just changed the barrel, didn't change the extractor or ejector. Not one single failure. Need to run about 500 rounds through it to be confident in in though.

It's a non issue. I have done several conversions and have known of thousands or rds down range with out a problem.

What is surprising is how many times this comes up and no one has ever stated having a problem.
