The magazine release is, the slide release is not.  It ejects to the right side although for most lefties that is not an issue with a handgun.  The take down lever is more convenient for a righty but again probably not an issue for a lefty since you never manipulate that in critical event.  The grip itself is ambidextrous in shape having trigger finger relief and thumb pockets on both side of the grip for lefties or righties.

I'm left handed & have no issue using this pistol.

Aftermarket mag releases are available that are offset for more pronounced left handed use if interested.

As with any pistol, I'm already used to the left side slide release... something I never use since you can rack the slide just as easily.

My XDm (with PRP trigger/sear kit) is still my favorite pistol.
