Anyone know if these have a ramped barrel? I've heard they don't have the same chance of gouging on the feed ramp like the Kimbers do. For the record, I'm trying to choose between a Kimber Tactical Pro II, SA LW Champion (not sure about the green/black, nor the "made in Brazil" on the dust cover, call me a snob), or the SA Champion Operator with the light rail. Price is a slight consideration, but not much. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks |

I have shot the Champion Operator and loved it. The short sight base is great and having the rail is def. a plus. The lightwight makes is a pleasure to carry. I would highly recommend this pistol. I have not shot the others but I don't want to. After shooting the Champion Operator I had to have one. MX |
