Any of you guys have the S&A Extended grip safety installed on your Mil Spec 1911? I was thinking of getting one because of their 220 radius and the jig? Anyone have one installed on their 1911, how much filing was involved in the process?

They work as advertised. I did one on my brothers springer but I did a lot of removal of the flaps that covered the tangs to get the gun to sink down. Was some work but well worth it. And yes get the jig.
