[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Springfield Champion Ejector Width

I was taking my "new to me" Springfield Champion apart when I noticed the rear of the ejector was thinner than the ones on my full size 1911s.
Does the Champion use a different caliber/style ejector?
I'm not going to change it, just curious.
