I thought you were SUPPOSED to be able to swap slides on any 1911(?) but I personally have tried to swap slides from my springfield "Loaded" 5" onto my GI champion LW and the ejector was offset somewhat and dsid not line up with the slot in the slide. Mil-Spec anyone ?
