If you want to carry it, have you considered the 66-8?
Its slightly smaller, lighter and it's a K frame. Smith changed the forcing cone so it no longer is a reason for concern re: magnums, they've triple locked it, and the 2.75" has a full length guide rod. Sure, it's 6 shots vs 7, but it'll carry better. |

I like the 686 better
Either one needs a close inspection Both Ruger and S&W are sending lemons out the door to meet sixSigma production bullshit |
