anyone have a trick they use for pulling that sucker down to remove the slide?

I chew my nails and fingertips down sometimes and it makes for hell when trying to remove the slide.

All of my Glocks have the extended slide lock on them.

Squeeze with your finger pads while pulling down and 'rolling' them to the tips.

I'm talking about the part you pull down on from both sides to release the slide for disassembly... not the slide release.

I keep forgetting to mention.. I have a LaserMax installed... so I'm not sure I could replace that piece with a longer one. I'd have to look at it and see how it works...

I belive your SOL....Unless you get rid of the MAX...
It is made to use the take down lever as an ON OFF switch...
