anybody know the best way to do if it you don't have a sight tool?

I don't want to pay somebody $35 to remove them, then another $35 to install them.

most decent shops wouldn't charge you to install if you purchase the sights from them or are a regular customer.  Sig sights aren't the easiest to remove even with the tool so I don't think I would try it without the tool.  Post a thread in your hometown forum, I bet you can find someone to borrow one from.

This smith cuts no breaks to anybody and I've done a fair amount of business with him.

I found out that at SigForum.com they have a couple sight tools that are passed around for free just for the asking.  I had it a couple weeks ago and sent it back.  You might inquire there if you are still looking to use a sight tool.
