| So who has a 320 and how do you like it? I've heard good things. |
|
I just got mine 2 weeks ago. I really like it so far. I carry a 226 daily, but am not a fan of D/S or DAK. I always carried a Glock 19/23 for the last 10-12 years while not at work, but I could not get used to switching back and forth between the Sig and Glock ergos.
I love the simplicity, ergos, trigger and sights on the 320. I have a custom kydex holster for a TLR-1 HL on the way and a Crossbreed Supertuck. BTW mine is the 320C which is about the same as the Glock 19/23. I have a small grip frame on the way too, because I have small hands. I only have about 100 rounds through it so far, but it shoots like a dream. |

A sig getting good reviews on sigforum isn't saying much. Then you're not familiar with sigforum. Most call it as they see it. It's not just fanboi stuff. I can think of several regular posters that openly state they've sold all their SIGs, and continue to post frequently. The biggest, longest running thread is "You will buy a Glock" |

Very crisp trigger, not a lot of take-up for a striker gun, which is good. Reset is very positive if you're into that kind of thing. Wish the slide stop was a bit bigger, but the ol' slingshot works well. The full size is balanced... differently, than similar pistols. Even with a full mag. It has a 4.7 inch barrel so it feels a little front heavy because the frame is so light. Shooting it back to back with my M&P, it seemed to jump out of my hands on the first few shots. Once you adapt to the recoil, the front sight settles back very controllably. |

I would have to say it was the nicest striker fired pistol I ever handled. For whatever reason though something to do with how I grip it causes malfunction after malfunction. Can shoot one handed and it works fine soon as I use two hands it wont run at all. Gave it to my dad and got a FNS |

Typically, gun specific forums are huge circle jerks (FN Foum, HKPro, GlockTalk, etc...) I was pretty surprised how impartial Sig Forum is. Lots of Sig Specific thread topics, but not ONLY Sig topics. Lots of dissent and some Sig hating, that only gets smacked down when it becomes a distraction. Plenty of acknowledgment about the drop in QC that happened circa 2004, but it's also understood that they've come back. There was a lot of people on SigForum rooting for the P320 to fail, but they've been eating crow. |

I sent mine to SIG to fix some pretty bad trigger slap. Like trigger finger numb after two mags trigger slap. They've had it sice Thanksgiving and I haven't heard a peep out of them.
Other than that, I didn't think the trigger was particularly good. It measured between 6.5 and 7 pounds. Accuracy was nothing special from what I saw, but I wasn't going to bother trying to shoot it for groups until the trigger was fixed. |
| Picked mine up a week ago and hit the range yesterday with it, my Glock 19, and my P228. To me it was a great in-between....it felt like a polymer, striker fired, P228. It was 100% reliable with Federal Premium and 100 or so rounds of cheap reloads and accuracy was good. I didnt have any trigger slap but my buddy who tried it as well did. I think its really a matter of how flat you have your finger against the trigger on this one. Its not replacing my G19 but its certainly going to get more range time and things may eventually move in that direction. |

Full size 9mm here. I bought it and a Glock 17 at the same time. I put about 300~ rounds through both. Zero issues with either pistol.
The Sig won it in ergonomics and trigger. I sold the Glock and bought a Sig SP2022.
I had the opportunity to shoot a Carry size P320 (may have been a compact) and I really liked that one as well. |

I want to know who has a 320 in .45. All the other P320 models and calibers are getting great reviews. You can check out the Sig board for some good threads. Quoted:

| I had one. Gun was 100% reliable for the 1000rds I put through it and accuracy was really good. I just didn't like the trigger finger bite I was getting and the fact that nobody offered a trigger kit (other than sending it off and having someone work it over) and decided to scratch the M&P itch I've had for the last few years. I ended up liking the M&P better and sold the Sig. |

I love mine. I've got it in the compact size chambered in 357 Sig. I also got the .40S&W xchange kit. Not to mention my sub-compact grip and mag that I can use with my compact size slides.
Softest shooting .357 Sig I've ever had, even more comfortable than my old P229. I'm not experiencing any trigger slap or any issues at all. I also had a VP9... which I got rid of. I just like the P320 better for its simplicity and modularity. Don't get me wrong, the VP9 was very nice as well, but IMO the P229 was just better for me. |
