On Gunbroker - 3" chiefs special - looks cherry.
 Nothing special about it , don't have any particular NEED for one. But it's the same model as my Very First pistol I had 30 years ago.  Bid is at $ 295 right now. |

Can't go wrong with a pinned & recessed Smith, they are all nice wheel guns. This one does look like it's in super nice condition, go for it!

YES! Finest revolvers ever made, especially the older ones like this one. If you get it for $295 I'd call it a bargain.
Old J and K frames are sweet! I got a Model 34 a few months ago that is minty and I can't bring myself to shoot it although that is what I bought it for. |

It is a heavy barrel...looks to be very nice. Full extractor rod stroke, but it is a square butt...good for shooting, not as good for CCW. I had an old nickle 3" HB with RB that I carried for a while and it was the absolute best J frame I ever fired...both extremely accurate and nice to carry so long as you carried at waist level. Yes, bid on it, and I agree that $295 would be a good price.
