I sent my PW9096L back to SA because there were some flaws in the OD finish. There were 2 pieces missing on the top of the slide and the left trigger guard was really rough. I also informed them of a couple failure to go into battery issues. I got the gun back in 2 weeks and the invoice said refinished gun and adjusted extractor. I am almost possitive they put on a new slide or one they had laying around. My sights were a crack hair off the the right and the new sight is dead center. There is also a little play between the slide and receiver and my barrel bushing is a tad loose. It was tight as hell when i sent it back. There also seems to be some cracks in the slides finish or the metal itself opposite of the ejector port on the inside. I did not get charged and have not fired the pistol yet. I was not having ejection probs and i dont know why they adjusted the extractor. Maybe I am being to picky. Anybody else have something similar happen?

You sent the gun back with slide issues & they replaced the slide & didn't charge you & you're concerned? Shoot it first & then complain, IMO.

I sent my Springfield 1911 A1 loaded version back to SA yesterday. The slide was binding then jamming open in the extracting position. I would have to give it a swift tap in order to close the chamber. I 've only took it to the range twice since I bought it a month ago. The slide feels like it is binding up after about 10 rounds. I thought maybe it was drying out so I would oil it more but it has know effect. hinking.gif

Sent mine back a week ago.  The plunger tube had come loose from the frame.  The rest of the gun is flawless though!

What has SA's turn around time been like? I recently purchased a SA Loaded Operator. I had been shooting it in my yard on a Steel Silhouette target quite a few times. I thought POA=POI. When I took it to the range and tried to put them in the x Ring, I was 4 1/2 inches low at 25 yards So I sent it back Friday Fed ex Priority Overnight (Ouch 46 and change), and it will be there Monday Morning. I have heard great things about SA's Customer Service. Hopefully they get me squared away soon!

Did you enclose the shipping receipt?  They'll refund the shipping costs if it's a warrantee issue.
