Yes. Yes. And yes. There is a lot of information about them, just not on this site. Hell, I was practically the only one who posted back when there was an RRA forum on this site. RRA's aren't "tactical" enough, I suppose.
  That said, the RRAs I have owned and sold have been markedly better than most anything else in the same price range/genre.[email protected] |

I endorse them without reservation. If I was back in the States, and had the money, I'd get a matched set of one of their 1911s and an AR. There are "better" firearms out there, but for thousands more.

I have two ADCO/RRAs and a RRA EC. All were purchased through Steve (Bigbore) at ADCO. I have many other 1911s to compare them to. The fit, finish and most imortantly reliabilty are all superb. It's a shame that at least for now the runs of ADCO/RRAs are at an end. They have proven to be exceptional 1911s and I highly recommend them. While I am a huge Wilson fan (have 2 CQBs and 3 Protectors) the RRAs have proven themselves to be fine firearms. The last two runs of the ADCO/RRA at $1525 were a bargain. The RRA EC at $1750 is well worth every bit of the money it costs.

Ask again in 10 months when i get home and pick up the ADCO RRA 1911 I bought but couldn't pick up before I deployed!

Seeing as the people who started RRA used to work for both Springfield and Les Baer, I'm not surprised they get extremely positive reviews.
Maybe some day my poor ass will have enough to pick up an RRA. |

I'm confused here. Do you mean RIA (Rock Island Arms) or RRA (Rock River Arms)? I know RIA makes 1911s, but I've never heard of a RRA.

Rock River Arms offer some of the best out of the box 1911's on the market. Rock Island Armory offer some of the cheapest 1911's on the market. I couldn't agree more with SGB's analogy.  |

Another positve review for the RRA 1911's. I got a Basic Limited Match for Xmas and took it the range this past weekend. Only got to put 50 rds. through it, 100% reliable. Hopefully get a chance to put another 200 through it this weekend. The trigger is amazing!

I have a Limited Match that far surpassed my expectations. IMO they're the best semi-custom 1911's available both in terms of function, finish and value.
