Being that CCW is up for consideration here in Jersey, I thought I'd ask about application...
What do you have to do? About how long does it take? ect...

well it is different for each state, so you can research it on jersey's website, but i doubt you'll get any conclusive answers. long story short, unless you are EXTREMELY wealthy with lots of connections, you're not carrying legally.

I can't see NJ going to a shall-issue state. If they do, fantastic....but I'm not holding my breath.

Differs by state.
In Arizona:
Take 8 hour class - includes shooting a target
Pay money to DPS (department of public safety)
Wait 3-4 days to get your permit in the mail
