I'm wanting to build myself a .40 1911. Does anyone know where I might find a prefit frame/slide with a full length railed dust cover and matching slide relief cuts (or, rather, lack of them)? I'm wanting something like an Infinity, but all steel and single stack.

Not available.  I can't even think of a source for a full length dust cover RAIL single stack frame, nevermind the prefit.

STI makes a full length dust cover frame, no rail.  They don't offer prefit on that one either.

Les Baer Monolith

Note: Stainless steel frames are also available, as well as reduced Commanche" and “Stinger” size frames. All Baer frames are available separately or paired with Baer slides, individually hand fitted for the best possible fit.

Nice to know.  The Monolith Tactical looks like a full length dust cover with a short section of rail attached to it, not a full rail dust cover though.

I wonder if SVI could whip up a full rail SS frame?

Don't think SVI sells bare frames anymore, but I guess it couldn't hurt to call and ask.

I know they still sell bare 2011 frames. I just got one.  Single Stack frames unknown.

Thanks for the info guys. After looking everything over I think I've decided to go with a Caspian stainless recon frame and slide and just do the fitting myself. I'd forgotten how short the frame rails are on a 1911, won't take more than a couple of hours to fit it, even if I have to rough cut on the mill first.
