So it started about a month ago, i usually go to the range every saturday.
Well every time i'd go out the first shot from the PX4 doesn't shoot.
It only happens the first round of the day. It's happened each time the past four saturdays. but only the first round.
Any suggestions?

So when you pull the trigger and nothing happens, do you rack the slide and eject the round and the next fires? Also does the ejected round have a strike on the primer? Maybe feed ramp issues or something Idk. Fill me in more.

What kind of ammo is it, and how many rounds has the px4 been through?

Around 3,000 rounds through it, its been several different brands of ammo Federal, Hornady, lawman. I Don't rack the slide, i just pull the hammer back and pull the trigger again and it fires.

Do you notice if the hammer falls all the way down when you pull the trigger the first time?

I watched it today and it seemed like it did. It hit the same the rest of the day with no problem

hmm well i suppose he next thing i would suggest is, when it doesn't fire next time, eject the round. look at it and see if the primers been struck. it may be a light strike, therefore causing you to have to pull the hammer back a second time.

Sounds like your firing pin is sticky.

Find a way to set the pistol muzzle down and drip some CLP into the rear of the firing pin striker.  What a few minutes then blow it out with a can of air.

You want to see oil come through the firing pin outlet<hole if you prefer> in the back of the slide where it strikes the primer.  No oil=blockage=fouling=no bang till you shake the pin loose

on the second shot.

The only other thing that come to mind is the firing pin stop but I don't think that would be it.
