I just picked up a used P228 and wanted to know where to find the production date. S/N starts with B280***

Any help would be appreciated.

is there a two letter code on it like AG or HA?

There is a KJ under the front of the slide

It was made in 1998 but that is all I know. YOu have a W. German Sig
