I have a USPc in a .45ACP. An AD date code. After 300 rds and no problems, I picked up a cartridge case to inspect and noticed that the firing pin indentation is centered, but there appears to be a slight drag mark. Normal? Again, no malfuctions were experienced. On a side note....It freaked me out that when i pulled the trigger, the safety/decocker lever moved. Thought it was broken at first, until I went to a local shop and played with a new one, which did the same thing. |

Thanks Big Bore! That's comforting. Yes, perhaps the best. My friends S&W 1911 worked for 150 rds of WW 230gr, then started to have FTF with the bullets hitting the ramp and the slide remaining partially open. Had to strip it and add oil for it to continue to shoot. All the while, my HK kept chugging along. BTW, I just picked up a SS USPc in .45ACP with three mags! With an AA date code. The original owner really babied it. He even put on a set of fully adjustable Meps. I'm still debating whether or not to ditch the sights for a fixed set. Do they have available a threaded barrel for the CT model out? |
