Finally found a deal on a LNIB Colt Python, 4 inch. Will be using for range, quad riding and hiking. Probably need a thumb break for the last 2 uses. I don't want to ruin the blueing if possible. Suggestions?

Thought about it, almost got one, but guntest rated the pony best. Resale on Colts can't be beat as well.

A safe Packer is a consideration. It will cover all the gun and prevent AZ "pinstripping", as well as covering the trigger.  It will provide some padding if you happen to stumble while hiking.

Larry

Dillion's sells the Safepacker or at least they used to.  Also The Wilderness Store on 19th Ave. in Phoenix has them, give them a call.
