Is this a Factory Colt .38super Commander? I have a few,just measured the barrel OD,it was .579 on all of them.......i dont think ive ever seen a .500 OD Commander barrel before .....smallest commander bushing i know off is Nighthawk's-Brownell's #100-003-241DG,it is .515 ID

take measurements and send the numbers to EGW. they will machine one.

Must be a Colt thing. the few I have used all matched (or close enough to work.) the std OD of a 45.

Older Colt .38 Super were equipped with barrels skinnier than the .45 ACP. Except for trying to keep the pistol in original condition, I wouldn't waste money on a custom-fitted bushing on an older .38 Super barrel as these headspaced off of the semi-rim.
