I sent it away 6 weeks ago to Dynamic Finishes after seeing another team members post  about his being done in desert camo G21. I had mine done in carbon fiber weave I came back this morning ! Of course i had to get a proper holster for it! I also ordered a stainless barrel and had the hood jeweled. I think it goes well with the weave.

I like it and that's all that matters. I have plenty of functional firearms. It's nice to have something flashy once in a while. It's a shame the pictures don't do the pattern justice. If it wears off  the old finish is still there. Can't really lose

Absolutely dazzling!

All you need now is little balls mounted under the front of the frame, a "Gold Kit," and "Viva Hidalgo" engraved on the slide. Wow, and you even have a clear holster to make it more obvious.....

Lord, what was the man thinking? What was the man thinking?
ETA: All joking aside. It looks kinda cool. I just think if I stare at it to long I'll have to take my Mom's equilibrium medicine!

Be Safe.

It's certainly different, and I can't see anyone mistaking it for there own.  Just out of curiosity, what does a job like that cost?  I looked at their site before, but didn't catch prices.  btw, as long as you're happy with it, then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks, right?  Thanks for sharing the pics.  Oh yea, where'd you get the clear holster from?

I don't know what is more disturbing - the gun or the holster!
Ant chance you are going to lend that to Will Smith for the next BAD BOYS movie?

cool.  nice to see some options for glocks.

A Glock with wood grips?    www.dynamicfinishes.com/pattern.php?page=WTP_123

I like some of their options on line.

I wonder if it would work on a revolver...

Pretty cool looking

ok the holster is made by Cen-dex.. same maker of the spring sling for ARs probably the most comfortable sling i've ever owned. That holster is their " low boy" model. It rides an 1" below the belt. So its almost like a drop leg with the annoying thigh  straps. They can do any of their holsters in what they call  ice which is just clear.

As far as price goes it runs $180 for pistols. I got it at dealer cost so it was a bit cheaper.

You should have gotten a Blackhawk CQC Carbon Fiber holster instead.  That way it'd match and you wouldn't have a see-through holster.

The pistol is sort of interesting. If you like it thats great but your holster is ugly man get the black hawk. That clear holster looks more like a lip stick holder for the spice girls or something. To each his own though. Again the pistol is neat.

I've been in  constant contact with the Director of Business development for their product group. At the moment they do not offer a CQC for the large frame glocks. As of last month he had just signed off on a mold for them.  The CQC with the carbon fiber in-lay was my first choice. As soon as it becomes available that will be the holster for the gun. I already have a  CQC for my other glocks and i love the holster to death.

This gun is not used often. That's why i chose this one to have refinished. It's mainly for show at the shop. More or less a conversation piece.

Considering that anyone wearing that holster and carrying that gun would have their belt below their ass to begin with, would that qualify it as a thigh holster?

I have a CQC for my Glock 19 and I love mine too.  I went and bought the matching spare mag holder and M3 light carrier.  Now all I need is the cool carbon fiber belt and I'll have the whole get-up.

I don't know what mental illness caused you to have a Glock ruined in such a spectacularly retarded fashion, but if I were you, I would spend less time worrying about my post count and start asking yourself 'why' you would do something so moronic to an otherwise innocent firearm.
That finish isn't of any utility whatsoever, and it's 'unique' in the same way every turd i've ever crapped out is 'unique'.

I mean, that finish and holster is stupid and idiotic beyond the pale. If someone did that to my gun, I would kick their ass- and you PAID someone to do it?

That gun is just plain dumb, as is anyone who would cause such a thing to happen.
It isn't 'cool' or 'unique'- it's retarded.

Dude, what's your problem with it?  You didn't pay for it and it's not your gun so what do you care?

Let's see, you just registered, you have a generic screen name and you act like this?  What was your old screen name and why did you get locked?  Trolling?

It's obvious to everyone that you are just here to troll and that you have no interest in contributing or participating except in a childish manor.

I like the holster, can't say I like the gun, too much bling for me..

Buy Brown holsters/sheaths has been working with "clear stuff" as he calls it for quite a while.

I would get something chrome with pearl grips if I needed bling that bad.

Wow. That logic locks up like a bank vault

This is a discussion forum. People come to such places to discuss things.
In this case, the discussion is someone who ruined a Glock. He is part of this discussion, I am part of this discussion, and you are now part of this discussion. You may think that that finish is great, and as such, you can say so.
I happen to think that finish is a joke and anyone who would purchase such a finish is obviously mentally diseased. And as such, I say so.

I don't know what makes my screen name any more 'generic' than 90% of the other screen names here, but I guess when you are trying to make a case against someone, you go with whatever you got. And 'what you got' is just about as lame as the finish on his Glock

I'm going to have this thread locked due to certain children and their desire to show everyone how ignorant they can be. Thank you to all who contributed anything of substance.

That's a bit harsh cutting down another man and his pistol like that. I think you could use a valium and an enema.

I also think your probably a bit jealous because 1. You dont know anything and cant offer any useful info to the board 2. You probably cant even afford a Glock, or the cost to have one refinished.

Actually, I think I saw Aim4MyHead wearing the holster at a Central Florida Gun Show a couple of weeks ago.  It's very cool in person.

Aim4MyHead, were you showing some VERY cool 9mm Ar Pistols/Beta Magazines a couple of weekends ago?
