New H&K USP Compact .40 owner. Going shooting tomorrow what kind of groups are you all getting? |
Great choice and great gun!! I have the same one, uspc .40s&w, v1 and I absolutely love mine. There's nothing wrong with the .40 cal, so don't let anyone start in on the caliber war with you. I can shoot consistent double taps where the holes are almost touching, so the recoil to me is not a big deal. Now the only thing that will get you...is that after you shoot it, you will want to get more HK's in your collection... Let us know how your range trip goes.

HOnestly you are going to shoot low and left until you get used to it. First you have to put the front dot ON the target not under it. Second, the trigger is a bit of a handle at first and will cause you to pull your shots left (assuming right handed). Once you conquer these issues, the USP will shoot as good as you will let it. Great pistols IMHO. |
