Hi guy's. I was wondering if anyone can offer some advise about a problem with my new 94 w/4"barrel. I bought the gun a few weeks ago to use as a trap line gun. I took it to the range and found it to be very tight. By this I mean that the tolerances between the cylinder and the frame/forcing cone are tight. The cylinder was tough to close and while shooting the cylinder would bind up. After shooting it a while approx 200 rounds she seems to have freed up bit. What I am getting now is when I get to the last round the cylinder binds up. This makes no sense to me. I also experienced a lot of misfires at first but, that  self corrected the more I shot it. I now have no misfires. Any advise / suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Unfortunately you just have to exercise your lifetime warranty.

Need to shoot plated (copper wash) ammo.
Lead will build up and cause the cylinder to bind....haven't had a problem once I started shooting only copper wash.

I bought a model 94 blued for my son a few years ago and there was enough clearance for the cylinder to rotate.  Instead of sending it back I took a little metal off the forcing cone with a file.  It hasn't hung up since but it still doesn't have a very good double action pull.  We had a few failure to fire but that seemed to be as much ammo related as anything with the revolver.
