[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 586 No Dash

I just checked my 586 and found no dash or M.

I've had this since 1986, bought from original owner.

Should i send it in for the recall or keep it original?
recommendations?
If i plan on selling it, worth more not sent in?

I have been told unless it is in immaculate condition with immaculate box and papers, and you find the right collector, you are better off sending it in for the M stamp upgrade.

What is this M-stamp upgrade you speak of?

My uncle has a very early 586, I will need to check his pistol.
