I am looking  at buying night sights for my Glock 17 and Glock 27 and need some pointers and experiences with these sights from my fellow arfcomers.  I will  sure appreciate some advice and opinions on both sights (Meprolight and Ameriglo Operator). Thank you in advance.

Ameriglos.  I have meps and are getting ready to exchange them out.  Hopefully someone can post a pic of theirs.  One of my problems with mepros are that the dots all are rather large.  At speed it's a little hard to decipher which is the front.

Ameriglo Operators, they are great.

Meps are ok but the dots are huge

I installed yellow/green Pro Operators on my G26.  IMHO, these sights are much better than the factory N/S on my P226.

For self defense I don't think there is a faster sight on the market easy to hit from the first shot.

I use Ameriglo's on all my SD Glocks. Operators in the front and plain (non-Tritium) rears

I say scratch the night sights all together and get a set of Warren Tacticals.....But if you must have them go with the Trijicon and have the front sight staked.
