I have a G20 now with a standard length LWD barrel. I was waiting for LWD to release the 20L slide 2 months ago, I'm getting impatient. I should be getting a G21 this weekend. Can I put a 21L slide on it and get a 6" .45-10mm conversion barrel, does one exist?
Or could I put the 21L on my G20 with a 45-10mm conversion barrel? |

To answer the OP's question directly, yes you could get the G21 longslide and a KKM 45-10MM conversion barrel. However, my understanding from JR is that he won't guarantee that the conversion barrel will work 100% with the 45 slide. That means that LW's slide may or may not work 100% with the conversion barrel, I don't know. Better to wait for the G20L slide from LW. My understanding is that its really close to release. That way you'd have a slide specifically made for the 10mm barrel. When I developed my G20/21L the only longslide available was the German steel one. It seems to work very well with the 45-10MM conversion barrel despite the fact that the extractor doesn't get a 100% grip on the 10mm case for extraction. |
