What does it mean to upgrade a lock work with match parts.This would be concerning a Colt 1991Compact 45Acp.

In the old days the trigger/hammer was referred to as the lock works.

So I might assume he means the hammer, sear, disconnector.

I agree its the fire control parts...hammer/trigger/sear/disconnector
