My question is whether I need to worry about my magazine springs. I keep two mags loaded at all times, one for the glock and one for my pocket. I've been carrying the same mags for awhile now and haven't unloaded them. Do I need to worry about the springs in these two mags being weak?
What do some of you do with your mags your carry? |

These threads come up all the time and, while I'm not an expert, the answer I see over and over it as follows: Springs are weakened by the repeated compression (loading) and expansion (unloading), not by prolonged compression. |

That's what I always thought as well. |
