Those that use moon clips, is there a storage carrying box to transport loaded/full clips to the range??

Thanks

I use a plastic box they sell at Wal-mart.
It is a clear blue or clear orange storage box that has snap closures and it water resistant. They're in the sporting goods are with the hiking/backpacking stuff.
I like them because you can see what is in them. They come in several sizes.

I like Plano storage boxes.  Throw a few of your moonclips in your pocket and head to you favorite store that carries fishing gear.  Find the one fits your moonclips and holds enough for your needs.

These are Plano 3771 and they work great for my N-frames with short cartridges.  For 38 Special or 357 you need to go to the deeper versions.

I just toss them into draw string bags I make out of old blue Jean's legs. They don't get a whole lot of abuse in a range bag. I've shot USPSA Revolver and ICORE for over 13 years. I've bent them on my belt and I've had them stepped on, but I've never pulled a bent one out of the bag.

I keep a reload or two in either an old 35mm film container or pill bottle.

The guys that shoot revo uspsa here usually have a .50 ammo can with a wood block cut to fit the bottom that has been drilled and fitted with dowels sticking up. They just drop the moon clips over the dowels and latch the lid.

These are the perfect size for mags and also hold speed loaders and loaded moon clips.  They stack nicely in the safe.

I either put them in a plastic 30 cal can or a 3700 series Plano box.

The normal Plano 3700 easily holds 14 or 15 loaded 45 clips, loading tool, small brush, and screwdriver.

A plastic 30 cal ammo can from Harbor Freight holds over 50 loaded clips with plenty of room to spare.

I keep my clips for my GP100 in a couple Crown Royal bags. 1 with .40 S&W and 1 for 10mms

Same technique here, .45 for a 22-4.

The purple-flage pattern is for brass.

I use a couple of 2 inch (iirc) pieces of PVC with 1 end having a cap epoxied on.  They fit perfectly.

This is the only use I've ever found for those leather double pouches that come with Mosins (I don't bother to use them to hold loaded stripped clips as intended).
