I picked it up for 350.00, it is NIB 2" 5 shot stainless 357 mag. I'm not familiar with the prices of these but figured it was a pretty good deal.

That would have been a good price 10 - 15 years ago.

That is a REALLY GOOD price.  I probably would have accidentally thrown my wallet at the guy demanding to start the paperwork nao!

SP101 are selling for $400-450 USED around here in good shape in .38/.357.

One shop had a SP101 in 9mm for $450 new that was kind of tempting, but I don't reload that round yet.  That is about the best i've seen new.  Rugers get more than some S&W around here for some reason.

And the Gunny is giving you a direct order sir!  Post pictures even though we all know what an SP101 looks like  be proud of you new baby!  They bark with the magnums!

I would post pics but my camera shit the bed. I did some research also and yes I did good.

It's been a good year for me, got a 350.00 NIB SP101, a LNIB G17 with 5 mags for 300.00, and a LNIB G27 for 250.00

SP101 at a store near here is upper $400s...$480-ish.  A used one for $450 is not right IMHO.  Should be $350 or so...OP got a decent price.

I paid around $450 NIB for mine 3 or 4 years ago.

I think they are great little revolvers, and are built super strong.
