Kimber custom TLE II's

No mag cups but they did have laser grips.  No rails

1099.oo each...good price or did I avoid disaster.  Remember I didn't buy them, yet...

I'm no fan of laser grips and being the bargain hunter that I am I'd say HIGH.

laser grips say kimber on them so I'm guessing kimber?

they are the Crimson Trace grips which are 329 alone. I dont believe the kimber is anything special by itself.

i think that the prices you were quoted are a fair price (nothing extra ordinary), but i dont think that i would get em

i doubt that the seller is willing to part out the grips, and besides, a stock TLE should run ~$800 or so

It sounds like they are new Kimbers with the Green/Black crimson trace grips. Kimber sells them like that. the local Cabelas has two new Kimbers with the laser grips, Cabelas is not one to add anything to a new gun.

Its an option strait from kimber. The guys over at 10-8forums.com seem to like them a lot.

The lowest prices I have seen are at www.ajcsportshop.com/.  I don't see the ones with laser grips, but they are a master dealer.  Call them up and ask.

Good deal. It would be like 1 or 2 steps from being one of the best deals you can get. You guys who think this is high, please tell me where I can get a similar model for a better price?

I have been thinking about getting a set of the grips for my Warrior. I may just pick up a Kimber TLE with the grips so save a few dollars, since i want a plain 5" 1911 also.

the 1099 is a decent price not being overcharged at all.
