| Can the ILS system be removed. I hate having a built in lock on my gun. I didn't know sprinfield put these locks in their guns now. I guess everyone is doing that now. What a shame. Whats the chance of these locks malfunctioning? I bought a full size loaded model with the novak night sights. I took off the wood grips and put on a hogue grip. The gun has shot very well. I've shot 100 rounds of winchester white box through it and 20 federal hydra-shocks. No problems at all. This is my first 45 and love it except for the ILS. |
