Seeing as Glock has an unofficial lifetime warranty, I'd say a lot.
I had a 2nd Gen G23 and the slide was chipping away at the "frame" plastic inside the recoil spring tunnel. It was nearly back to the metal insert when the locking block broke necessitating a trip back to Smyrna GA. They replaced the locking block and admonished me to stop shooting reloads. I inquired about the "frame" wear and was told not to worry about it until the metal inserts were being hit. I traded it away before that could happen but have no doubt that Glock would have replaced the frame if the inserts were being hit. |

I think around 20-25K. I remember reading the FBI trials, when they selected Glock 40's, that the model 22 and 23 lasted around 20-25K before a minor part broke or they just stopped the test.
You may make it to 50K or you may crack the slide at 5K. I believe that the Gen 2, early Gen 3 was the pinnacle for Glock and built the reputation. My Gen 2 model 23 is still going strong, although I had the frame replaced for a Gen 3 to get the rail mount. |

Form most shooters any well built modern pistol is likely to be running strong long after you are dead!
most will last a long time even without the anal recoil spring change every 3 k - I am old enough that back in my early days as long as a gun was running spring changes were not a consideration, and guys had tens of thousands of rounds on pistols with all original springs If you buy into the change recoil spring every 3k in a 40 philosophy they will pretty much last forever |

Still accurate enough to hit a 4 inch steel dueling tree at 50 yards |

Just to throw in there....
This also depends what you feed it. High pressure or poorly loaded rounds will shorten the life of a pistol. |

How many rounds? If you replace the recoil spring once in a while and maintain the gun it will be a while.
Keep shooting and let us know when it breaks. |
