First, you have to put the picture on a hosting service. A lot of people use Photobucket which is FREE: www.photobucket.com/ Go to the site and register. To load a picture, go to the "My album" area and click on the "Browse" box. Browse to wherever you stored the picture on your PC. Once you've selected the picture, click on "Submit". Photobucket will then show the picture down the page. To post the picture on a web site look just below the picture and you'll see three boxes labeled "URL", "TAG", and "IMG". Copy the contents of the "IMG" box. Go to the site where you want the picture. On most web sites, you simply paste the contents of the "IMG" box, and when you post, the picture will appear. THIS site is different: To post the picture, got to the Post Reply where you type new posts. Look JUST under the posting box where the "Insert Tags" info is. Look for the small Blue ball with the glasses. Click on that and a box will pop up. Paste the contents of the Photobucket "IMG" box there. The link will be inserted into the post, and when you post the message, the picture will appear. SO: Go to photobucket and register. Go to the My Album area. Browse for the picture stored on your computer. Submit the picture. When it loads, copy the contents of the "IMG" box. Paste the "IMG" info into the post, OR on this site, the Blue ball and glasses icon and paste it there. Post the message. |
