It's nice, but it's not $860 worth of nice.

It's kind of a mini SP-01 Shadow.  That is the cost.

I agree it's not inexpensive, but it's a semi custom gun. Comp hammer, polished internals, feed ramp, ss guide rod and night sites. If you added all those extras yourself it would bring the cost up there pretty close.

Obviously CZ is making them.

CZ Custom is not making frames and slides.

CZ USA needs to import/sell them in stock configuration so a more economical version could be offered.

AN HK price tag on a CZ is a non-starter for me, and many others.

True, but to get the HK trigger as nice as this one I'm guessing you have to send it off to Gray and that costs $400. So it is a bargain compared to a Gray Gun worked over HK

Looks like CZ Custom is trying to make the PO-2 that I have been waiting years for. $860 ouch.  I ended up getting a Canik Stingray, the closest thing I could find.  David

Just ordered a Canik C-100 because I was tired of waiting on CZ and its tiny production runs.

You won't be disappointed.  I love my Canick-55 C-100....

Meh. P01. Plus night sights. Plus trigger job/custom hammer. Plus unobtanium factor of safety P01.

I bought one to replace my CZ 82 as my edc.

Concur. And I wanted soooo bad to love my HK USP's.

I don't think the price is out of line for the features they're offering.

I'd like to see a more affordable version but it's nice they are even offering a pistol with those features.

Apparently that particular frame combo is very rare. CZ Custom is talking about getting some PCR frames with safety too.

I know the Turks make excellent pistols. But think of the cost of sending that Canik off to Canjun Gun Works or similar for a trigger job, then adding night sights, then the stainless guide rod. Gets pretty close in cost. That's what sold me.

I thought it sounded good too, so I asked for one with a SRTS and am in line for the work.

That looks pretty awesome.

I would buy one if I didn't just buy two Canik's and have custom work done to them.

When you consider the cost of all the custom parts, it isn't that bad of a price... plus you can't find an alloy frame CZ with a safety anywhere else.

Missed the boat on these, wonder when more will arrive?

Cajun Gun Works is selling some Custom ones. Look there. Expensive, but top of the line Custom Guns. And you'll get your money back if/when you resell.

Stuart at CZ Custom found me one, should be here Wednesday

What the heck is this "safety" thing? Where is my decocker? I thought a safety was where you didn't pull the trigger unless you wanted to gun to shoot. I thought a safety was where when the SHTF you just pointed and pulled the trigger and it goes "boom" without losing time by having to mess around with finding and moving some other part.

I have 75's both with safeties and with decockers. I like my P-01 with a decocker but I also like my 75 with the Omega trigger. Try one of those. Regular pricing but the feel of a custom trigger job.

I just got back from shooting my new CZ P01 L, and all I can say is WOW. It is a tack driver, shot 100 rounds of WWB through it with no issues. This pistol is polished everywhere possible. It is smooth as glass. Trigger is awesome, and the sights are dead on 6 o'clock hold. These guns continue to amaze me with their accuracy. I have shot all of the other players, and while some are more accurate than others, the CZ pistols never let me down. Very pleased with this version,

Thanks to Stuart at CZ custom for picking me a good one

Its actually not a bad deal if you add in the cost of the trigger job, hammer, and night sights.

So my compact L with a SRTS (with Firing pin block in place, a new option) arrived from CZ custom.

It's stellar. 8.2 pound DA, 3.5 SA trigger pull and the reset is fantastic and crazy short compared to my stock P-01. I had a dumbass moment and left my shadow at home.

Looking at the test target, it's more accurate than I am. And dead reliable, only a few hundred rounds in,  but no issues and it survived a match as an ESP gun already.
