I got this used but it is in great condition I think, plus i got one hell of deal on it.  One thing is that it did not come with a case or anything else i only got the pistol. So i was wondering if somebody could tell me what this model comes with, I tried ebay already but didn't see anything.

I want to get new grips on it but is there anything else i should do?

Edit: I bought a few Wilson 47d magazines already and ammo.

Nice, those really are great looking pistols!

I think if you look on Springfield Armory's website it will show what accessories they come with from the factory.  Probably a blue plastic Springfield and maybe (depending on when it was purchased) a cheap kydex holster and mag pouch).  You can probably also buy these on their webstore if you really want them, but you'd really be better served to look for something else.

What should you do to it?  Buy ammo and shoot it!

I'm jealous as hell.  Bit of advice....keep the grips around for a bit. You might be surprised how much you like them.  I put them on my GI because I wanted a checkered front strap but was too cheap to front the $.  I really like them, so just try them a bit.

You have a great looking pistol.  Don't worry too much about what comes with it, but whatever you know you need for it.

Congratulations!!!

I just would like to get a case and a manual and whatever little things that may have came with it. I don't care too much about the holster and mag holder. I will buy anything i need and want for it too.

Bout the only other things that would come with it, other than the holster and the mag holder would be the manual, some kind of safety key (never really used it) and some awesome coupons from Springfield for accessories, and of course the manual.

Yesterday was a good day to buy Springfield 1911's, I opted for the more traditional Mil-Spec.

I just picked up a NIB MC Operator  not too long ago(about a month ago). Here's what a NIB model comes with:

Owner's manual and misc. advertising paperwork
Two spent casings(proof and registration firings)
Mag holster(plastic thing, holds two mags, works alright)
Pistol holster(plasting thing, doesn't work that well..went directly to my "holsters I don't like too much pile)
Two mags(unmarked except for caliber, holds seven rounds, metal floorplates)
Cleaning brush
Blue plastic SA case

I can say this, I do love mine(altough probably not as much as my LB TRS). Nice pistol!

Took it to the range yesterday and put over 200 flawless rounds through it. Most of them Federal 230 a box a Tap 230 +P and a Box of Rem Golden Sabers.  I think i was most accurate with the sabers so i bought another box.  This gun is a dream to shoot sure am glad they took my Glock 27 on the trade.

Any other HP's that i should try out that run well in this pistol?

Anything in the recommended list in the ammo forum. Specifically Federal HST, Speer Gold Dot, and Winchester Ranger T-series are the popular 3.
